Been fishing up at south boulder creek SBC and the past 3 weeks have been Glorious, the fish are very hungry now since the flow's have been slightly coming up everyday, jarring loose worms for eatin. I've been going about a 1/2 below the Picknick bench, and I have been snagging some 16" rainbows out of a few holes, with the potential of being bigger.
I use a 3wt Rod 8"4", dark willow S/A XPS willow to dark willow line, 7.5' 6x fluorocarbon leader, 2.5' 6x fluor. tippet to Brooks Sprout Midges #16-#18, 7x fluor. tippet to Blue Poison Tungs or Rainbow Warriors both #18-#26.
